Our ADventure Begins

Arnaud and Daniela (including little Ina) are the Founders of ADnigma. We met and fell in love, while working together in the R&D department of a MedTech company.

Arnaud introduced Daniela to Escape Games (A horror live escape game, which may not have been the best first choice for a first escape game ;)), and we now both love solving them together.

A few years later, we moved in together, just before the pandemic hit and grew our family with our team Mascot Ina (cute, but not very helpful for the puzzle box development). Once Arnaud finally popped the question, we got married in June 2022.

We both wanted this day to be fun, and to introduce our family and friends to our favorite pastime – escape games and puzzle boxes. So we decided to develop a wedding puzzle box, with enigma’s related to our love story.

And here we are today – ADnigma – and the first chapter of the Lost City Puzzle Box.

Wedding

First wedding puzzle box with riddles related to our story. People loved it.

Creation of ADnigma

The wedding box, combined with our passion for Escape rooms and puzzle boxes, lead to the creation of ADnigma.

Development Phase

Development of intricate puzzles, a stand out design, with various materials and colours started in August 2022 and ended in March 2023.

Playtesting

Testing of the prototypes by friends took place in April and May 2023. They really enjoyed it.

Kickstarter Campaign

The Kickstarter campaign ran from May to June 2023, this is the part where we present our project to you and hope you will back us:-)

Production Process and Website Revamp

The production process will be adapted according to the amount of backers we have.

Revamp of the website to include the community leaderboard.

Manufacturing

Puzzle box production and shipping preparation. We will manufacture in batches and will inform all our backers on the estimated delivery.

Post Deliveries

Eagerly await feedback and first solving time updates in the leaderboard and start development of the second box of the series!
